At the 25th Annual Campaign Agency of the Year Awards, which were held last night in Mumbai, India, Ali Rez, Regional Creative Director for Middle East & Pakistan, BBDO, was named the ‘South Asia Creative Person of the Year 2018’. This is the first time that anyone from Pakistan has been honoured in such a manner; his agency, BBDO Pakistan, received a Bronze award for Campaign Agency of the Year at the event.
Rez has won over 100 awards in 2018 for the agency, including Cannes Lions, Clios, and the coveted D&AD pencil. BBDO Pakistan won at every one of the 12 international award shows they entered in this year, and were named Agency of the Year at AD Stars, and were also the runner-up Agency of the Year at Dubai Lynx. Rez’s team also won the first Glass Spike at Spikes Asia, in addition to 10 awards.
Campaign’s Agency of the Year awards have taken place since the early nineties, and recognise inspiring leadership, management excellence, outstanding business performance, and other achievements in advertising and brand communications.
