Published in Jul-Aug 2017
In early May, after an extensive pitching process, Ogilvy & Mather were selected as Telenor’s creative and digital agency for all their brands; previously the account was handled by Adcom Leo Burnett. Ogilvy will start working on the account in July and plans to develop a creative strategy after studying Telenor’s brands in detail and running them through Ogilvy’s SOPs. The account will be managed by Imran Qaiser, Ogilvy’s GM in Islamabad. According to Asim Naqvi, CEO, Ogilvy & Mather Pakistan, “as the largest and leading creative agency group in Pakistan, Ogilvy is well-experienced in managing extremely active and large size accounts successfully.” He adds that the agency’s processes and tools will help the team perform the job effectively.
