Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) Pakistan recently unveiled its new credit card called Standard Chartered WorldMiles Card. The credit card is targeted at frequent business and leisure travellers “who have become a key segment due to the robust growth in air travel. It is also the ‘first of its kind card’ in Pakistan,” according to Tasneem Mirza, Manager External Communications, SCB. The card offers the possibility to redeem ‘reward points’ for tickets of major local and international airlines. WorldMiles Points are earned every time the card is used by to purchase retail items, which can then be redeemed for flyer miles. “The new card is a critical component of our customer product mix,” Mirza adds.
